About Powers
Amanda started with HLFM in March of 2017 after working for seven years in geriatric medicine. She obtained her BS in biology at California State University, Fullerton and went on to Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ for her masters in physician assistant studies. She graduated along with Sarah Patterson and Julie Browne in 2009. She has loved the transition from geriatrics into family medicine and feels so lucky to have such a wonderful work family! In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, two young children, and boxer Louie.
